Cecilia Benjumea

My name is Cecilia Benjumea and I've been on a healing journey since I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue syndrome about 10 years ago. This journey led me to the raw foods lifestyle which I've been living for 7 years in Northern California. The joy of preparing and teaching people about raw food has lead me to be a presenter at Rawstock, help organize a Raw Food Retreat in Hawaii, do recipe and photo spreads in Living Nutrition Magazine, teach raw food classes and give talks in Sonoma county, and organize a raw food potluck in Petaluma.

I am passionate about spreading the word about raw foods. I especially want to reach people who have Chronic Fatigue and give them the hope that they can heal themselves. I do not prescribe to any one raw food philosophy and I encourage everyone to experiment and find what works for them whether it be all raw or high raw. I am unique in the sense that the raw food I prepare is simple, easy to prepare and digest, yet tastes and looks amazing.

Some of the topics Cecilia will address are cravings, social situations, yo-yo dieting, feeling “full”, healthy cooked foods, unhealthy raw foods, how to maximize nutrition at every meal, the top ten raw foods you should include in your diet, sorting through conflicting information, and, most importantly, listening to your intuition.
