Green Commitment
The
Raw Health Expo is committed to having an event that is as
"green" as possible. In addition to sourcing (whenever possible)
local, fresh products and ingredients for the expo, we are dedicated
to providing a healthy and sustainable expo environment.
Raw Health Expo works to reduce its impact on the environment in a
variety of ways:
• Encourage attendees to support local farmers by supporting the farmers market at the Health Expo on SAT with over 75 booths.
• We will provide on-site recycling and compost bins so these items can be diverted from the landfill.
• All office paper to-go boxes, paper towels and a myriad of other paper products are made from 99.9% pre-or post-consumer recycled paper.
• Vendors will be encouraged to source produce from local growers
• Food vendors will be encouraged to use compostable utensils, containers and cups.
• The main Raw Health Expo Vehicles are fueled by renewable biodiesel instead of petroleum based fuels.
• We have an active recycling program, 99.9% of office paperwork and warehouse cardboard is recycled.
• Program Guide and other Literature is printed on Recycled Paper whenever possible.
We encourage you to do your part when attending the expo. Please be mindful to compost and recycling whenever possible, and only taking samples and paperwork you will actually use.
