Heather Baker

Heather has run a small organic retail clothing company, Acorn Organics, ( www.TheOrganicAcorn.com) in Santa Barbara, CA, for over 5 years. Heather, a five-year raw foodist and 20-year vegetarian, also is a co-organizer for Santa Barbara's raw foods Meet Up Group ( www.meetup.com) which has over 100 members and monthly potlucks. She has spoken about the health benefits of organic clothing at the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute Expo and the Raw Spirit Festival. A Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo Ctiy and Regional Planning program graduate, Ms. Baker has also worked as a full time Land Use Planner in Santa Barbara since 1998. Ms. Baker grew up in Sacramento, CA, and throughout her childhood and adult life has found inspiration among the beautiful oak trees along the American River parkway.
