Melissa Mango

Melissa got her first taste of Live foods while volunteering at Tempe’s Rawsome Café. Returning to
Idaho, she founded The House of Vibrance, which hosted a wide array of raw food speakers and events.
Melissa’s next venture, Birdie Basket, served as Idaho’s first Live foods catering business, offering private demos, transitioning services, and lectures. Melissa was the Chef for 6 diabetics during the filming of Raw For 30 Days "Healing diabetes naturally" at which time she was a guest Chef and a volunteer instructor at The Tree of Life Rejuvination Center. In 2005, Melissa was the only vegetarian/Raw chef participating in the Grill Masters Competition in Boise, Idaho, where she won most creative dish as well as best show at The Texas Vegetarian Chili cook off.

Currently Melissa posts free weekly recipes for NY e-mag SoulDish as well as running Terra Bella Cafe, and Terra Bella Dessert Company in Redondo Beach, Ca. For fun and passion, Melissa is a consultant to Raw Businesses, cafe's and Chef's that want to bump up their talents on the garden-cutting board. She will unveil her new book this summer.

Melissa focuses on simple, delicious live food recipes with little or no nuts, and proper combined ingredients for optimal digestion.She will be talking about ways to get back to simplier style foods while still enjoying gourmet flavors for an easy transtion and enjoyable path with Live foods.
