Michael Bedar

A filmmaker honored by the Newport International Film Festival, winner of Best Documentary in the Imperial Beach International Film Festival, and more, Michael has been in service as assistant and student to the authoritative holistic physician, Rabbi Gabriel Cousens, MD, between 2004 and 2009.  Michael is a Master's Student in Live Food Nutrition at the Tree of Life's Human School of Living Arts, and has a BS in Environmental Interactions and Chemistry from UCSD.

In Simply Raw - Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days, Michael and the team set out to entertain and help people by inspiring them.  Simply Raw shows what happens when six people living a fast-food lifestyle and suffering from diabetes go to a live food diet for 30 days, a la "the opposite of Super Size Me."  The drama of personal shift and healing, medically, emotionally, and relationally, is a story that audiences nationwide have been moved by.

Living the dream, Michael, a writer and blogger, reminds you to consider life as a chance to enjoy and bless all souls and soils.

Sun 3pm "The Movement to Reverse Diabetes Naturally" - The Movement to Reverse Diabetes Naturally sprung out of the response to the film as a way for people to shift their paradigm.  The social network www.DiabetesMovement.com has emerged as a mindset that all we have to do is love ourselves enough to heal ourselves and the planet.  In contrast other diabetes social networks even name themselves as being defined by this curable disease.  Join us for an inspirational hour of defining our selves on our terms of radiance, connection, and Life!
