Rick Dina, D.C.

Rick Dina, D.C. has been studying health and nutrition since 1986 and has been a raw food vegan since 1987.  He worked at Hippocrates Health Institute in 1991 and then traveled the country with the Juiceman company teaching the benefits of raw fruit and vegetable diets before entering chiropractic school in 1992. 

After earning his doctorate degree in 1997, he practiced at True North Health Education Center, a multi-disciplinary holistic health facility in Santa Rosa, CA.  At True North he practiced outpatient chiropractic care, as well as nutrition and lifestyle consulting at their associated residential health care facility; routinely helping patients recover from high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, and other nutrition and lifestyle related ailments.

In 2002, he taught a required course, "The Determinants of Health," at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA; the flagship 4-year Naturopathic Medical School granting Doctorate degrees in Naturopathic Medicine.

In 2004, he founded Living Health Chiropractic and Wellness Center (formerly Vitality Wellness Center) in San Rafael, CA where he offered chiropractic care, massage therapy, and educational programs with his wife, Karin Dina, D.C.

This presentation will provide a solid foundation to make sense of all the conflicting information out there in the popular media and within the raw food community, as well as presenting several real life fasting and cleansing case histories.
