I was first introduced to raw foods through my husband, Christian. He was always searching for the optimum diet to help him manage his Type 1 diabetes. A mostly raw food diet has proven to be the best diet for him and we've spent the past 10 years sampling, learning, and creating our own raw organic foods. I started Blossom Organic Foods in April 2011 after taking a break from mechanical engineering to raise our 4 year old son, who has thrived on mostly raw, organic foods. For my demonstration I'll be making one of my son's favorites, strawberry cheesecake, and a staple in our house, fresh hemp seed milk.
