The Raw Health Expo is proud to announce that the  Sebastopol farmers market is just under a half mile away! 

Experience a 100% Certified California Farmers market when you attend the Raw Health Expo!  The Sebastopol Farmers Market usually has 30+ booths.

We encourage our participants to purchase their food at the farmers market to enjoy some of the highest quality food, save money and support local farmers.

Some farmers markets around the country allow "resellers" to sell produce they purchased from wholesalers and set up a booth "at the farmers market" to sell the produce.  The produce may be imported from out of the local area, out of the state or even out of the country.  With the Certified California Farmers market, you are assured all fresh fruits and vegetables were grown in California, most of them grown locally.

Enjoy fresh California produce straight from the farm.  Some of the highest quality produce you have ever tasted.  Fruits and Vegetables that are usually in season in July may include: Apricots, Snap Beans, Beets, Blueberries, Strawberries, Cabbage, Cantelopes, Melons, Cherries, Corn, Cucumbers, Figs, Grapes, Lettuce, Nectarines, Okra, Valencia Oranges, Peaches, Pears,  Green Peas,  Sweet Pepers, Plums, Prunes, Zuchinni Squash, Tomatoes, and Watermelons.

What is a California  Certified Farmers Market?
A Certified Farmers' Market are an effort to reestablish the traditional link between farmers and consumers in California. Certified Farmers' Markets are "the real thing;" places where genuine farmers offer only agricultural products they grow themselves for direct sale to the public. By eliminating the middleman's additional costs and multiple product handling, both the farmers and the consumers benefit.

Although the Certified Farmers' Markets are strictly governed by the high quality and growing standards of California, their farmers can bring field and tree ripened fruits and vegetables which are too delicate for the packing and shipping processes of traditional food distribution systems. In addition, consumers are assured of obtaining only California grown fruits and vegetables, fresh and in season, at attractive prices.

California farmers are the most regulated farmers in the world, but high standards add to the cost of farming and put our farmers at a competitive disadvantage with produce shipped from other areas.
